Interest of the organization lies in availability of official information, whether the cases of intoxication of soldiers in the Ministry of Defense during 2013-2014 are being investigated, at what stage is it and what is the reasonable period of time needed for the Prosecutor’s office in order to outline guilt and/or publish the results. In addition to this, the organization was interested in studying the issues of state tenders and asked the Prosecutor’s office if any works exist in this direction and at what stage is the “Deltacom” case so far.

The chief executive of the “Young Barristers” Archil Kaikatsishvili says it is important for the Prime-minister to get acquainted with the issue as well. The organization demands the Prime-minister to get interested with why do the cases of intoxication of the soldiers remain as “Griffith secret”. Also, Archil Kaikatsishvili addresses Irakli Gharibashvili to investigate if selective principle earnings of state tenders exist in the Ministry of Irakli Alasania.

For your information: Organization the “Young Barristers” addressed the Ministry of Defense a few times in order to regulate Staff, organizational and system problems, but the Ministry denied organization’s proposal to cooperate in an institutional dialogue.

The organization demands to accelerate investigation and inform the society not only on cases of intoxication of soldiers, but on transparency of state tenders in the authority.
