Tbilisi public court will be reviewing the ccomplaint of “Young Barristers” made against Sandro Akhmeteli’s Dramatic Theater. The organization points to Sandro Akhmeteli’s Theaters’ release of Tamar Medoevi off her duty on political basis. The administration of the theater released Tamar Medoevi on April 10, 2014. The official release document was issued by new leader of the theatre, Irakli Gogia, and can be viewed as a reorganization of staff. The reason for the release was stated to be the new schedule, which was introduced by the new leader of the theatre, upon which the committee had to run structural reconfigurations and optimization. Exactly this optimization became the reason of Tamar Medoevi’s release.

On proof of „Young Barristers“, there were no organizational changes which made it essential to cut the number the personnel. The new head of the theatre, in reality, did not lessen the staff. As it turns out, the “unfavorable” personnel were substituted by the “favorable” ones. In addition to that, more people were recruited. Accordingly, “Young Barristers” state, that the complainers’ release, on the basis of optimization, was originally fraud and violation of work codex.

Judge Tamaz Urtemlidze will be reviewing the case in Tbilisi Public Court. The interests of Tamar Medovi, from the organisation’s side, will be defended by Ana Kiknadze.
