The organization “Young Barristers” will prepare the research on the legal issues of Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani monument.

According to the statement of lawyer of the “Young Barristers” – Nino Isakadze, there still continues discussions in the society regarding the issue of Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani monument, however, the issue should be evaluated legally. It is essential, that the society get acquainted broadly with the legal aspect of the issue.

The “Young Barristers” in the monitoring process will pay attention to the analyses of the following legal issues on Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani monument status: How to gain cultural, archaeological monument status, both by Georgian and international legislation; what are the criterias and standards required the monument to obtain such status during the Soviet Union and independent Georgia’s subsequent period regarding the issue of Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani; analyze the contract between government and the investor regarding the issue of Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani, what is the role of the state and the investment environment.

The “Young Barristers” will publish the results of the research on legal issues of Sakdrisi-Kachaghiani monument status in November.
