The Chief-executive of the organization “Young Barristers”, Archil Kaikatsishvili, gave an interview to the Radio of the TV Channel “BBC NEWS” on April 16, 2015. The interview was about the freedom of religion and belief in Georgia. Archil Kaikatsishvili introduced to the journalists the research by the organization, published in 2013, on the “Freedom of Belief and Religion in Georgia” and the recommendations, concerning the research . The conversation touched upon the issue of the religious intolerance during 2012-2014 and the reasons causing it. It has also focused on the role of the Government, to ensure freedom of religion and it’s approaches to support and promote a tolerant society, increase public awareness and as well as the importance of introduction of the religious education in the educational system reform. The interview was conducted by the producer of the “BBC NEWS” Radio, Wesly Stiwenson and the Radio correspondent, Natalia Antelava from Georgia.
