Young Barristers addresses the Prosecutor General of Georgia and the Ministry of Health of Georgia on the facts of illegal actions and alleged corruption of Mariam Tskhvediani, a supporter of the Tbilisi City Center, a social worker of the Court-Civil Disputes and Enforcement Department and a senior social worker of the same department. At the same time, the organization claims that the illegal activities of social workers lead to the current prosecutor Zaza Kvirkveli, who gave his house to his son-in-law for the use of children to separate from his grandmother.
According to the head of the Young Barristers, Archil Kaikatsishvili, a legal response should be launched to eliminate nepotism and possible corrupt deals in the system. Detection of each case and strict response to it is the basis of public trust in state agencies, silence on each high-profile case can become the basis for even more violations and lawlessness.
The case file states that the children's father decided to separate the children from their grandmother and move them to his residential address. The intentions of the father go beyond the legitimate interest of the parent and are personified by revenge and commercial interests. In particular, he demanded that the young composer intervene in his son's creative career and sign the existing deals, which the court refused.
The court instructed Nino Iobashvili and Mariam Tskhvediani to study the children's place of residence. These conclusions, at first, fully reflected the reality, as well as the unequivocal free will of the children that they did not want to move in with their father. Following this finding, the father attacked social worker Mariam Tskhvediani with obscene words and demanded her punishment. Thus, the court correctly assessed the situation and instructed the preparation of a psychological investigation into the case not by these social workers but by an independent organization.
It was this conclusion that unequivocally confirmed that children do not want to live with their father, the main centre in their lives is the grandmother, which led to additional aggression from the father.
Nino Iobashvili and Mariam Tskhvediani, from March 2021, without a court order, deliberately started preparing other conclusions and assessed the 71-year-old child-raising grandmother as abusive. Both Iobashvili and Tskhvediani have published several reports on the strategy of taking children to their father and preparing the legal basis for this plan.
Nino Iobashvili and Mariam Tskhvediani falsified facts, circumstances, children's opinions, opinions on various issues and signed all conclusions ignoring the interests of children, and the court last week ruled that Mariam Tskhvediani and Nino Iobashvili should not be allowed to talk to children. The court granted the children's motion and expelled Tskhvediani Iobashvili from the courtroom during the children's interview.
According to the new findings of Nino Iobashvili and Mariam Tskhvediani, without the court ordering them to do so, a direct recommendation was issued to the grandmother requesting the protection of the grandmother and the transfer of the children to the father for 9 months. Before the court decides on this case, scandalous facts become known.
Referring again to the non-existent violence of the grandmother, the father wants to take the children to his sister's house, which is the family of the famous prosecutor Zaza Kvirkvelia.
Mariam Tskhvediani went to the family of the current prosecutor Zaza Kvirkvelia, obtained her consent and prepared a new report, which directly recommends that the prosecutor's family shelter the children.
Zaza Kvirkvelia does not appear in this case for the first time. He was present at the scene of the attack of the children's father on grandmother, though he did not respond to any violations.
Nino Iobashvili, in April 2021, openly stated that she is acting under a patron. Consequently, the social workers did not act in accordance with the rules of legality, legitimacy and equality in preparing the presented conclusions. There are covert and presumably corrupt deals.
These actions only agree with the interests of the acting prosecutor's family. Especially when the father of the children says in open conversations that the son-in-law is a prosecutor and puts the 71-year-old woman in prison.
Moreover, the prosecutor is suspiciously silent when his wife's brother declares that he will turn the tragedy around. This danger was once again pointed out to the 71-year-old woman at a family meeting last week, where the prosecutor's family sent to the grandmother the godfather of children, the director of a well-known supermarket chain in the city and a well-known businessman.
According to the "Young Barristers", the investigation should be interested in the named circumstances. Especially when, according to a temporary court order, in the days of relations with children, in addition to the father, this meeting was attended by the family members of Prosecutor Kvirkvelia and the businessman himself. The court has audio and video footage of these meetings.
The organization claims that Nino Iobashvili and Mariam Tskhvediani are involved in the facts of illegal actions, covert transactions, conflict of interest and alleged corruption. The current prosecutor is defending the illegal activities of social workers, as with his consent, Iobashvili and Tskhvediani dared to sign a direct report, where the removal of children against the wishes of children was considered a necessary measure.
