The organization “Young Barristers” held a meeting with the civil society in the Center for Civic Engagement in Batumi, and presented the research on the case of illegally deprived property of Roland Bladadze in Adjara afret the “Rose Revolution”. Meeting was conducted in a discussion format and was shown the special prepared video in connection with the story. Later on, the members of the organization, in the framework of civil campaign, had distributed the research in the population for free in front of the Constitutional Court of Georgia. In addition, they had joined a silent demonstration of the deprived property family members, which was held, entitled: "Give me back my property", near the house of the the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia - Giorgi Papuashvili.
According to the research prepared by the organization, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia - Giorgi Papuashvili lives in the illegally deprived house in Adjara after the "Rose Revolution". The issue is related to the case, the history of which became known to broad society first time. In particular, the monitoring reports the case of the person turned out to be among those who were deprived of property against their will, in 2004. The history is even more complicated by the fact that the former president Mikheil Saakashvili transferred the deprived property of Roland Bladadze to the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia - Giorgi Papuashvili who until now lives in the house of Roland Bladadze with his family. Research best delivers the factual and legal side of the case, which is a continuation of prominent cases of the deprived properties in Georgia, in 2003-2012. At that time, law enforcement authorities, the judicial system and administrative authorities agreed on the use of selective justice, in order to become visible the matter of judgment and prosecution of public officials in Adjara.
The organization in the framework of implemented monitoring has already addressed the recommendations to the executive, legislative and judicial authorities. English version of the research has already been sent to the diplomatic representatives in Georgia, to the Constitutional Courts of 20 European countries, to the Venice Commission and international organizations.
