The “Young Barristers” in the fraimwork of the project “Green Apple” of the Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, attended the discussion meeting on the issue of “State and Youth”.

According to statement of chief-executive of the “Young Barristers” – Archil Kaikatsishvli, youth involvement in the political and social activities should be the priority. It is essential the state to have the right view regarding the youth policy. The issue of young people's public involvement and awareness of using their civil rights required to be developed as well. Together with the need of long-term strategy document, it is necessary to ensure youth involvement in international activities. It is important, to finance and carrie out joint Georgian and foreign educational projects. To increase the quality of education in the country and actually get closer to the European requarimenets. Therefore, the organization appreciates the existence of similar projects and is always ready to engage in discussions, which contributes to the formation of any above-mentioned position.

Archil Kaikatsishvili offered an initiative, which suggested to create the public broadcaster youth radio in Georgia. In addition, to promote the role of youth, he also put the issue of providing lobbying of legislative amendments by the organization.

For more information: the project “Green Apple” is initiated by the Children and Youth Development Fund of the Ministry, the goal of which is to create the platform for youth, youth discution space and at the same time, authoritative, objective brand with a good reputation – “Green Apple”, which will enable the young people to develop, to get additional information, including sharing experiences of the important and interesting people. Within the project will also be interesting meetings with representatives of different segments of society, including politicians, athletes, culture and education, economy, social sphere and representatives of other areas as well.
