The organization “Young Barristers” won the nomination of “the most active non-governmental organization of 2014”. The “Young Barristers” received the award at the final event of Children and Youth Development Foundation of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia. With the "Young Barristers" more than 15 non-governmental organizations, due to their successful projects, were also awarded in various nominations.

It has been already 2 years, since the “Young Barristers: and Children and Youth Development Foundation has been collaborating. The organization in May-September period of 2014, with the help of the Foundatio implemented the project: "Together with European Choice", which carried out in Minority Regions - Marneuli and Akhaltsikhe. Within the framework of the project had been an active communication with non-educational institutions in the region, held a public lecture on the Georgia-EU relations, published informational newspaper regarding Georgia’s European choice, which spread to the local population by the project's participants themselves. The final phase of the project was a contest and all the work involved in it was published as a collection. The given award by the Foundation to the organization included both the project activities, as well as in general, expressed attitude towards the activities of the organization.

Award to the “Young Barristers” was given by the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, Levan Khipiani and managers of the Foundation. As at the awarding ceremony the head of the organization, Archil Kaikatsishvili stated, winner nomination has a high responsibility. According to his statement, this award belongs to all members of the organization, the beneficiaries participated in the project and to all supporters of the initiative.
