The organization “Young Barristers” attended a round table on the issue: "The use of German law, in the international relations”, which was held with supported of the Georgian Bar Association, the German Federal Chamber of Lawyers and the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).
The meeting focused on the advantages of the German legislation regarding contracts, dispute resolution benefits in Germany (in court, arbitration or mediation), using German law in the course of justice and business relations of Georgian. The round table was attended by the German Federal Bar Chamber Executive Director Veronica Horer, the Chairman of the Georgian Bar Association Zaza Khatiashvili, lawyers, judges, representatives of the German Embassy in Georgia, German ,,International Legal Cooperation Fund "(IRZ) Project Manager Rita Busa. The meeting was attended by honored guest, newly elected president of the European Bar associations and legal associations Maria Slazak.
Lawyers and judges were introduced to the German practice and agreed that such meetings, with the participation of judges as well as lawyers, will be productive and successful in the country to improve the quality of justice. The meeting, on behalf of the “Young Barristers” was attended by co-founder and head of the organization, Marika Arevadze.
