The organization “Young Barristers” participated in the 6th forum of the Georgian youth organizations, which was between 24-25 December, in Tbilisi. The organization at the Youth Forum was presented by the head of the “Young Barristers”, Archil Kaikatsishvili. The “Young Barristers” participated in the Youth Forum for the first time.

Youth Organizations’ 6th Forum held in Georgia since 2007. The purpose of the 2014 event was to listen annual report of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, communication between youth governmental and non-governmental organizations, to raise awareness about activities of involved organizations, coordination and cooperation between the participating organizations, to disseminate information about current and planned programs and the funds in the field of youth, youth NGOs involvement in the review process of informal education competencies framework document. The meeting working format was the plenary sessions, working groups, and the general discussion. By "Open Space" method, an exhibition was held for organizations where all interested person had the opportunity to attend.

The “Young Barristers” estimates, that youth organizations have huge role regarding sustainability of rights and democracy in the country. The youth policy should be based on experience and dialogue between generations. We believe that the Youth Forum has raised new possibilities for common interests and initiatives. The involvement in the Youth Forum examined the implementation of youth policies and enabled the organization to have correct knowledge about current challenges and innovations.
