The organization “Young Barristers” responds to the  statement by the  Constitutional Court of Georgia of March 17, 2015  and appeals to Giorgi Papuashvili for respect  of the right of the public to get  objective and impartial information regarding the progress of the certain legal activities implemented towards him.  After the organization’s appeal to the society by means of the special press conference in March 16, 2015,  where the organization had informed the society of the fact of  investigation initiated towards the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Giorgi Papuashvili, by the Prosecutor’s Office Adjara Division of Investigative Service,   under the article 180 (paragraph 1) of the Criminal Justice Code of Georgia for the crime of forgery,  the Press Secretary of the Court  , Maniko Beridze, during the process of making assessments  to the  “ Adjara tv”, has stated , that  “ in the documents, submitted to them by the Prosecutor’s Office , there is no information, regarding the launch  of criminal proceedings  against Giorgi Papuashvili  for the crime of forgery  , and organization’s press conference  is nothing more, but  deliberate misinterpretation of the facts. We consider,  that the documentation, passed by interested party, could be simply rechecked by the television, in order to avoid  delivery of the  false, unchecked information to the audience. The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia  has not received any kind of document or report from the Office of Prosecutor or any other institution informing of the  launch   of  investigation against him. We are sorry that the fact has been deliberately distorted in order to  mislead the society” . 

The “Young Barristers” appeals to the society with full responsibility, represents the documentations confirming the ongoing investigation in  Adjara  Division of Investigative Service against the Chairmen of the Constitutional Court of Georgia , Giorgi Papuashvili, and provides certain  explanation in record of certain circumstances _ ongoing investigation in the  Adjara Division of Investigative Service on the crime of forgery against Giorgi Papuashvili is confirmed by the letter of the Main Prosecutor’s Office of February 11, 2015 # 13/8093. The ground  for the launch  of the investigation has been the complaint of June 25, 2013. The case is regarding the issue of appropriation of the garage, another real estate,  legally owned by Rolan Bladaze on behalf of Giorgi Papuashvili, after he had moved to the house of  property confiscated Roland Bladadze, the fact  proved in the factual evidences existing in the case. The Press Speaker of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, Maniko  Beridze, is the one , who  carries out substantial distortion of the facts  and  indicates  incompetant attitude towards the legal proceedings. When the Press Speaker of the Court announces that : “ in the documents, submitted to them by the Prosecutor’s Office, it is not provided,  that the initiation of criminal proceedings  against Giorgi Papuashvili   for the crime of forgery has been started”, we will on our turn try to define the following : _ the initiation of the criminal case by investigative body  is started when the resolution of accusation  towards the  person is adopted. For the moment, investigation regarding the fact of the  appropriation of the garage is in progress in  Adjara Division of Investigative Service, after which the issue of the legal liability of the persons should raise in accordance with  the criminal procedure rules. Due to the fact, that the appropriation of the garage by Giorgi Papuashvili is proved by the factual documents existing in the case, the protocol of the landlord community was signed under the influence and in the archive of the National Agency of Civil Registry, documents confirming  Roland Bladadze’s right to the property has been disappeared and the official document gained from  Batumi City Hall Supervision Service, proves that, Giorgi Papuashvili had demanded and received  3565 GEL  in return for the dismantled storage_the garage , makes us think that the investigation will come to the conclusion to finally accuse  Giorgi Papuashvili for implemented criminal activities.  

The “Young Barristers” appeals to the Service of Public Relations of the Constitutional Court of Georgia  to fully get acquainted with legal questions that exist in the society towards Giorgi Papuashvili, together with the documentations regarding Roland Bladadze’s case and instead of keeping the image of the Chairman, deliver to the society only the truth , moreover, while  Constitutional Court is directly obliged to protect legality and correspond to the high interests of the society.
