The Chief-executive of the organization “Young Barristers”, Archil Kaikatsishvili, talked about the challenges and major approaches of the Court Authority  in Georgia , on the traditional meeting at the discussion club of the “Center for Civil Involvement ”.  Mainly, the discussion  touched upon the issue of  summarizing  activities of the Chair of the Supreme Court of Georgia during 2005-2015.  The discussion considered  following problems: the level of independence of the Chair of the Supreme Court of Georgia from  political influence, evaluation of the court decisions, the role of the Court in the prcess of implementation of the strict criminal justice policy and the level of the Court  responsibility  in regard of the evaluation of the facts of torture,  committed within  Penitentiary Establishments.
