The Alliance of organizations appealed to the Government, Parliament and Court, with a recommendation

Member organizations of the Alliance signed joint declaration and drafted  recommendations to the executive, legislative and Court authorities of the State. According to the Declaration, the Government should strengthen democratic reforms, andwhile making decisions,  take into consideration  the  people’s authority. In particular, the Government:

  1. Ensure true participation of the public society in the  political decision-making process. It is important to increase  responsibility of the society in the process of the State Governance and promote social control over the democratic reforms;
  2. The Parliament of Georgia should ensure that National legislation complies with the new European legislation within reasonable period of time;
  3. The Alliance of organizations considers following directions as priorities: Monitoring over the  implementation of the liabilities, determined by the Association Agreement, on behalf of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Authorities of the Country, strengthen and protection of the common European values, spread of  democracy and the rule of law, devotion to the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as the principles of international law, including the respect for  sovereignty and  territorial integrity of the state within it’s internationally recognized borders, promotion of peaceful settlement of the conflicts, informing the public society of  impending factors of integration with the  EU, lobbing legislative initiatives regarding the priorities, established by the Association Agreement, informing civic society of  ongoing reforms implemented by the Government, support for democratic institutions. The activities by the Alliance will also be supported by  independent experts from political, economic and legal fields.                   <p justify;"="">The founder organization of the Alliance, is the “Young Barristers”.  The other founding members  are:  the “Association of Young Financiers and Businessmen - AYFB” / NodarTchitchinadze, the “Georgian Young Constitutionalists’ Association” / Tamar Baghaturia,  the “Center For Civil Involvement” / LashaGiorgadze,  the “Human, Law, Freedom” / GiorgiTchulukhadze, the “New Initiative” / GiorgiZoidze, the “Youth for Youth and the Future” / AleksandreAkhalkatsi,  the “Youth Center – Our Generation” / ZurabQadagidze, the “Position” /GuramAdamashvili, the “Young Reformers Association” / ShalvaSardalishvili, the “Georgian Youth Parliament” /  AnanoTsikaishvili  and the “Georgian Center of Economic Development and Innovations” / NikaShatirishvili.  The alliance will be a permanent, thematic unity representing periodic reports of the monitoring regarding the implementation of the National Action Plan, approved by the Government for the fulfilment of the  liabilities determined by the Association Agreement. For the membership of the Alliance, the organization statute  should directly declare it’s  support for  the European policy of the State and the biography of the organization  should include specific  activities in direction of European Integration.
