On July 3, 2015  “Young Barristers” attended a meeting  of non-governmental organizations  with GeoStat arranged by the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).  The Head of the Agency introduced already completed and currently ongoing projects of the Agency to the organizations attending the meeting. In addition, GeoStat management made a presentation about their activities.  The amendments to the law on the “National Statistics Office” and other actual issues have been discussed during the meeting. 

Meri Daushvili, an executive director of the National Statistics Office of Georgia, has noted that  permanent dialogue and information exchange with customers is very important for statistical information. Accordingly, it is necessary, that NGOs , as most active part of the society, were involved in meetings like this and received more information about  projects implementing by the Agency.
