On August 7, 2015 the organization “Young Barristers” attended the workshop of “the Working Group on the Consolidation of Reintegration Issues” held in the Public Service Hall, in Tbilisi. The workshop was coordinated by the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Accommodation and Refugees of Georgia and the State Commission on Migration Issues. The results of the activities implemented by the organizations, who won the Grant Competition announced by the Ministry in record of reintegration, were represented during the meeting.   

 

“Young Barristers” is providing legal assistance for the beneficiaries of the project “Supporting Reintegration of Migrants Returning to Georgia” throughout the territory of Georgia  since May, 2015. Ana Kiknadze, the director of the project and the chief lawyer of the organization represented the report of activities implemented by “Young Barristers” within the frameworks of the project. 

 

The reports provided by 12 NGOs  were summed up during the workshop. A discussion about the difficulties and problems occurred in the process of project implementation was also held during the meeting and participants have offered possible suggestions  to the problem resolution.
