The “Young Barristers” began work on the issue in November 2013. In the 2013-2014 years, the organization has applied with the recommendations to the government of Georgia to provide labor rights of students while making the changes in the Labor Code.
There are many cases, when part of parents and students, in particular schools, demanded Orthodox teaching, but their wish was not satisfied by the decision of the public school.
“Who will represent the case which values a million in court? Real case on the real process” - this is the name of the initiative, in which the 4th undergraduate and master students will be able to participate.
Youth involvement in the political and social activities should be the priority
The organization offers the ministry to establish new approaches and criteria, when the state take commitment to help to the students who suspended status to continue their studies.
The organization “Young barristers” appeals to the Mayor of Tbilisi - Davit Narmania to start a real reform on the issue of kindergartens in the capital and allocate appropriate funds from the current and 2015 capital budget for the children, who were left without municipal kindergartens.
In the project: "Together for EU Choice" participated 19 schoolchildren from the target group regions. Project participants were awarded with diplomas, Tablet PCs and handbooks as well and all the articles have been published in the special brochure by the organization.
The organization will present the legal initiative to Georgian government in fall.
