The organization “Young Barristers” attended international conference held in Tbilisi on the issue of role of lawyers and their professional guarantees.
The meeting focused on the advantages of the German legislation regarding contracts, dispute resolution benefits in Germany, using German law in the course of justice and business relations of Georgian.
The Venice Commission responses to the research published in October 2014 by the “Young Barristers”
The organization is surprised with the counterclaim presented to the court by the member of the parliament, which does not include any evidence
The “Young Barristers” in the framework of the European Union and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) project “Strengthening the parliamentary system in Georgia”, is involved in developing of the 2-year (2015-2016) Action Plan of Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia.
The Parliament of Georgia instructed to the Ministry of Finance to discuss and present a position on the proposal of the “Young Barristers”. The organization on 26 November 2014, appealed to the Executive and Legislative authorities with the recommendation to discuss the issue of a tax amnesty on the crimes committed before December 31, 2012.
The “Young Barristers” continues discussion in the professional circles in order to introduce the published research.
The topic of seminar was concerning articles of European Convention of Human Rights.
By initiative of the organization “Young Barristers” conducted the sociological survey of the population of Tbilisi.
Award to the “Young Barristers” was given by the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, Levan Khipiani and managers of the Foundation.
